Discover the Robo Pico – Your Gateway to Creative Projects
Unleash the Power of Raspberry Pi Pico and Pico W
The Robo Pico doesn’t settle for just any controller – it harnesses the capabilities of Raspberry Pi Pico and Pico W, trusted tools from the Raspberry Pi Foundation. Whether you’re a seasoned maker or a curious beginner, these versatile controllers will elevate your projects to new heights.
Features That Ignite Your Imagination
Robo Pico is not just a board; it’s a canvas for your creative masterpieces. With a dual-channel DC motor driver, 4 servo motor ports, 7 Grove ports, a Maker port, two RGB LED NeoPixels, and a piezo buzzer, it’s a playground of endless possibilities. Imagine vibrant light displays, precise motor control, unique sound generation, and innovative Internet of Things (IoT) projects.
DC Motors and Servos: Drive Your Vision
Robo Pico comes equipped with an onboard DC motor driver, capable of managing 2 brushed DC motors or a single bipolar/unipolar stepper motor, as well as controlling 4 servo motors simultaneously. These motors can operate in the voltage range of 3.6V to 6V, with each channel supporting up to 1A of continuous current. Quick Test buttons and motor output LEDs simplify motor driver diagnostics.
Simplified Connections
Say goodbye to complex wiring and setups. Robo Pico streamlines connections with its thoughtfully arranged GPIO pins at the edge through the Grove and Maker ports. No soldering required, making it easy to connect Qwiic, STEMMA QT, or Grove I2C devices. Additionally, access all Raspberry Pi Pico or Pico W pins through two 20-way pin headers. Robo Pico even offers a hassle-free microcontroller reset button, eliminating the need for constant USB cable plugging and unplugging.
Seamless Troubleshooting
Troubleshooting is a breeze with LED indicators on Robo Pico’s Grove Ports. Quickly identify and address any issues with ease.
Versatile Power Options
Robo Pico offers three power supply methods: through the Raspberry Pi Pico/Pico W USB (5V) socket, a single-cell LiPo/Li-Ion battery, or via the VIN (3.6–6V) terminals. Choose the power source that suits your project’s needs, with a convenient power on/off switch on board.
Unlock Your Coding Potential
Whether you’re a CircuitPython, MicroPython, or C/C++ expert or just starting out, Robo Pico accommodates your coding preferences. Tailor your language to your skills or use this opportunity to explore something new. Robo Pico is more than a tool for physical projects – it’s a platform for evolving your coding prowess.
